Junior/Senior Accountant

About the role

Our client, a respected accounting firm based in The Willows, Pretoria, is seeking a Junior or Senior Accountant to join their team in Randburg. The role involves supporting a range of accounting functions for corporate clients, ensuring compliance and accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bookkeeping and data entry tasks for client accounts.
• Provide VAT and tax support, including preparation and filing.
• Assist with payroll processing and related compliance.
• Prepare financial reports and statements.
• Handle CIPC filings, UBO registrations and annual returns.
• Communicate with clients regarding accounting matters.
• Support the wider team with ad‑hoc accounting projects.

Required profile

• BCom Accounting or a related degree.
• SAIPA qualification is an advantage, or at least five years of experience in an accounting environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
