About the role

The Used Vehicle Sales Manager will lead and supervise the Pre‑Owned department of a well‑known automotive dealership in Kempton Park, ensuring a profitable and well‑organized operation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular sales meetings, provide performance feedback, discuss CSI results and drive team input.
• Control departmental costs and manage debtor turnaround times within budget.
• Prepare accurate financial, productivity and sales reports on schedule.
• Hands‑on management of daily business activities, problem‑solving and productivity evaluation.
• Attract, develop and retain competent staff, handling HR issues proactively.
• Ensure risk‑management standards through regular facility checks.
• Provide training for sales executives and create marketing awareness for the sales area.
• Manage lost leads and oversee vehicle ordering, purchasing and trade‑in decisions within targets.

Required profile

• Proven management and marketing experience with the ability to lead a sales team.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle legislation, trade practices and automotive market dynamics.
• Capability to administer a department, implement organisational systems and provide leadership.
• Track record of motivating staff to achieve sales objectives.
