Trust and Safety Clinical Provider

About the role

Intellect Care offers counselling and psychotherapy, a collaborative process that helps people resolve personal, social or psychological problems. Sessions normally last up to 50 minutes and cover moderately severe mental health experiences. Intellect is looking for a Trust and Safety Clinical Provider in Port Elizabeth to deliver mental health support through its platform.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 telehealth and onsite mental health support to Intellect's clients
• Address a range of clinical cases, including depression, anxiety, trauma, schizophrenia, eating disorders and addiction
• Partner with the internal clinical team to improve the platform and client programs

Required profile

• Counsellor: minimum Masters degree in Counselling or Counselling Psychology, with at least 300 hours of counselling experience after qualification, practicum, placement or internship
• Clinical Psychologist: minimum Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, with at least 300 hours of clinical/therapy experience after qualification, practicum, placement or internship
• Valid and active license applicable to the country of practice
• Proficiency in English and your local language
• Openness to occasional onsite work, if necessary, is a plus
• Prior experience with EAP, adult counselling or coaching, or managerial roles, is preferred

Required skills

• Skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or other evidence-based approaches such as Motivational Interviewing, DBT or SFBT
