Training Specialist

About the role

Our client, a leading manufacturer of mining equipment and engineering solutions, is seeking a Training Specialist to design and deliver technical training for employees and customers in Potchefstroom. The role combines office‑based planning with on‑site delivery, ensuring a hands‑on learning experience.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop and deliver internal employee training programmes.
• Create employee development plans aligned with organisational goals.
• Conduct on‑site technical training on equipment and systems.
• Develop learner guides, assessments, tests and other training materials.
• Ensure all training complies with quality, safety and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate and manage training activities from initiation to completion.

Required profile

• SETA‑accredited Assessor, Moderator and Facilitator.
• Proven experience delivering technical training in an industrial environment.
• Experience developing training material and learning programmes.
• Strong presentation and facilitation abilities.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Confidence engaging with internal teams and external customers.
