Project Engineer - Customer Training

About the role

As a Project Engineer – Customer Training you will lead and coordinate customized training projects for Damen customers worldwide, from concept through execution. You will ensure training programs are delivered seamlessly, enabling crews to operate Damen vessels safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop tailored training and education plans aligned with customer requirements.
• Collaborate with customers, internal experts and external providers to deliver integrated learning experiences.
• Organise global training projects, handling travel, accommodation and logistics for trainers and participants.
• Take ownership of project planning, budgeting, quality and progress, monitoring performance with SAP and project schedules.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of training quality and customer experience.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in project coordination, learning & development, training or a similar field.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Proactive, organized and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Interest in maritime vessels and a passion for learning and development.
• Residing in the Cape Town area and legally entitled to work in South Africa.
