About the role
The Tender Administrator supports the tender department by managing the full tender lifecycle, from identifying opportunities to delivering complete and compliant submissions. This role is essential for ensuring the company captures all relevant tender opportunities in the construction sector.
Key responsibilities
- Source and monitor tender opportunities from portals, client platforms and procurement databases.
- Download, organise and distribute tender documents to internal teams.
- Review tender documents to identify submission dates, briefing requirements and mandatory compliance items.
- Prepare checklists, returnable schedules and submission summaries.
- Maintain accurate tender folders and update the company tender register.
- Track deadlines, briefing dates, clarification periods and site‑meeting schedules.
- Coordinate briefings, site meetings and attendance confirmations.
- Follow up with internal departments for pricing, technical, safety and financial inputs.
- Assist with formatting, printing, binding and electronic submission of tender packages.
- Ensure all submissions are professional, complete and meet client requirements before final approval.
Required profile
- Highly organised and detail‑oriented individual.
- Experience working in the construction industry or a related tender environment.
- Strong ability to manage multiple deadlines and coordinate cross‑functional information.
- Proactive communicator who can follow up on outstanding documentation.
