Temporary Reception Clerk – Randburg

About the role

This temporary position supports the front‑office of a parts manufacturing company in Randburg. The Reception Clerk will be the first point of contact for visitors, callers and couriers, ensuring a professional and efficient service. The role is ideal for candidates with solid administrative experience looking for a short‑term assignment.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and direct incoming telephone calls.
• Greet and register visitors, clients and delivery personnel.
• Receive and log courier packages and incoming mail.
• Prepare and complete manual delivery notes as required.
• Match sales invoices with customer purchase orders and signed proof of delivery (POD) documents.
• Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry and maintaining reception area tidiness.

Required profile

• Matric or relevant NQF Level 4 qualification.
• 2–4 years of experience in a similar reception or front‑desk role.
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
