Temporary Home Care Advisor

About the role

The Temporary Home Care Advisor acts as the essential bridge between Air Liquide and the veterans we serve. You will deliver VA‑approved medical products to patients' homes, ensure they are comfortable with their equipment, and provide education on safe use of home oxygen, CPAP and insulin pump therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and set up home oxygen, CPAP, and insulin pump equipment for veterans.
• Conduct patient education and demonstrations on device operation and safety.
• Manage administrative tasks, monthly follow‑up, and maintain accurate patient records.
• Coordinate appointments for titration, sleep studies, and routine visits.
• Maintain stock counts, control disposables, and monitor expenses.
• Provide 24‑hour on‑call support, including weekends and public holidays.
• Implement Therapy Initiation and Optimisation programs according to clinical guidelines.
• Drive the company pool car safely and ensure compliance with safety and quality policies.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse degree or diploma (Matric/Senior Certificate required).
• Minimum 2 years experience in respiratory care.
• At least 3 years of driving experience.
• Strong knowledge of patient care, consultative diagnostics, and VA safety procedures.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage relationships and financial aspects of the role.
