Technical Training Administrator

About the role

The Technical Training Administrator provides efficient administrative support to ARCH's Technical Training Centre. The role ensures smooth coordination of clerical functions, maintains accurate records, and serves as a primary contact for learners, staff, clients and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out clerical tasks and manage projects that support the training centre’s operations.
• Liaise with clients, visitors, learners, staff and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication.
• Administer insurance, workmen’s compensation and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain health and safety compliance, reviewing and updating policies as needed.
• Register learners on SETA, QCTO and NAMB databases and handle all related liaison.
• Submit learner agreements and required documents to regulatory bodies.
• Perform general office administration, including procurement, coordination and record keeping.
• Continuously improve processes and systems to enhance centre efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong administrative experience, preferably within a training or education environment.
• Familiarity with SETA, QCTO and NAMB compliance and accreditation processes.
• Ability to act as a liaison between clients and internal support teams.
• Knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
