Team Lead – Tax (Late Shift)

About the role

Sonata One is seeking a Team Lead – Tax for its late‑shift Tax Services team. Working 2 pm‑10 pm, you will oversee tax compliance, policy development and the delivery of tax services across the global fund‑services platform.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure accuracy of Tax Delivery tasks within agreed timelines.
• Maintain and update tax policies, procedures and guides.
• Lead and develop the Tax Compliance team, handling recruitment, retention and performance.
• Provide escalation support for the Tax Delivery team and interact professionally with clients, lawyers, investors and administrators.
• Oversee FATCA‑CRS and withholding tax activities, ensuring they follow defined processes.
• Identify and implement technology‑driven improvements to increase efficiency, control and timeliness of tax service delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading tax compliance or tax services teams.
• Strong understanding of FATCA, CRS and withholding tax requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior tax operations leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder interaction.
