Tax Compliance Manager – Rest of Africa

About the role

Super Group is seeking a Tax Compliance Manager for the Rest of Africa to lead the delivery of accurate and timely tax filings for its South African entities. The role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with corporate, gaming, indirect, and withholding tax obligations within a fast‑growing, NYSE‑listed digital gaming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review and file corporate income tax, gaming taxes, VAT/GST, sales tax, withholding tax and payroll tax returns.
• Ensure all filings are complete, accurate and submitted before statutory deadlines.
• Maintain tax compliance calendars and track deliverables for assigned jurisdictions.
• Collect, validate and reconcile financial and transactional data required for tax filings.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between tax returns, financial statements and accounting records.
• Liaise with local finance teams and external tax advisors, providing guidance on data requirements and compliance processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in tax compliance, preferably within a multinational or gaming context.
• Strong knowledge of corporate income tax, gaming taxes, indirect taxes (VAT/GST) and withholding tax regulations.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tax calendars.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
