Compensation Solutions Architect

About the role

Join Meltwater as a Compensation Solutions Architect to design, build, and maintain the technical infrastructure behind sales commission calculations using SPIFF and Salesforce. You will work closely with commissions, global compensation, FP&A, revenue operations, and sales teams to ensure accurate, data‑driven incentive programs.

Key responsibilities

• Design scalable commission plan architectures and incorporate data from Salesforce to support compensation plans in SPIFF.
• Build and maintain custom Salesforce integrations and data syncs to automate commission calculations.
• Lead SPIFF configuration by creating coded logic (Excel‑style formulas) and designing new compensation plans.
• Develop dashboards and external reports to monitor SPIFF performance and commission payouts.
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot system issues, and deliver training to the commissions team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with a record of academic excellence.
• Salesforce Admin or Architecture certification preferred.
• Experience with compensation management tools such as SPIFF, Xactly, or Varicent.
• Background in SQL, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and BI tools (Tableau or Power BI).
• Strong experience in Salesforce development and architecture.
• Understanding of sales compensation processes and incentive programs.
