Tax Compliance Clerk – Full‑Time Role in Durban

About the role
We are seeking a Tax Compliance Clerk to join our finance team in Morningside, Durban. The role involves supporting various tax functions and ensuring compliance with South African tax legislation.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with preparation and filing of income tax, PAYE, provisional tax, company tax, dividend tax, customs and excise tax, estate tax and VAT returns.
- Maintain accurate tax records and documentation.
- Support tax audits and liaise with tax authorities.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise the team on compliance requirements.
Required profile
- Relevant tax or accounting qualification (e.g., BCom Tax, CA(SA) articles preferred).
- Exposure to multiple tax functions as listed above.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
Required skills
- Knowledge of South African tax regulations (income tax, PAYE, VAT, etc.).
