Tax Business Analyst – Hybrid (Centurion)

About the role

The Tax Business Analyst will provide dedicated business‑analysis capability to the Tax function, focusing on the organisation’s Wealth International (MWI) platform and its specialised international product suite. The role involves a comprehensive review of all tax‑impacting events, processes and products to ensure they are accurately embedded in the MWI system landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed tax‑related business analysis through stakeholder workshops, interviews and research.
• Document current and future state tax processes, system behaviours and product tax triggers.
• Elicit, analyse and validate functional, data, control, validation and reporting requirements.
• Produce a complete catalogue of tax‑impacting events, products and processing flows for MWI.
• Identify gaps, create a gap register and develop a prioritized remediation roadmap.
• Define and implement tax control framework components, including preventative and detective controls.
• Support IT teams with solution specifications while not being responsible for system build.
• Identify and escalate tax, processing and compliance risks.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Tax Business Analyst.
• South African citizenship (only citizens will be considered).
• Ability to work hybrid – based in Centurion with occasional onsite presence.
• Immediate to 30 days notice period.
• Strong stakeholder‑engagement skills and experience delivering detailed documentation.
