Tasting Room & Wine Club Manager

About the role

Cavalli Estate is looking for an experienced, service‑driven professional to lead the tasting room and wine club. The role blends hospitality leadership, wine expertise and data‑driven management to ensure every guest interaction reflects the brand’s quality and elegance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day tasting room operations, delivering premium, personalised wine tastings and ensuring a seamless guest experience.
• Manage guest feedback, VIP visits and group bookings with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Recruit, train, mentor and motivate a high‑performing hospitality team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the Cavalli Wine Club, developing strategies to increase member acquisition, engagement, retention and sales.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Events teams to support promotions, campaigns and private functions.
• Monitor sales performance, visitor trends and team productivity, providing strategic insights to management.
• Maintain Commerce7 POS system accuracy, stock control, inventory management and merchandising standards.
• Uphold health, safety and service standards across all tasting room activities.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years’ management experience in hospitality, tourism or the wine industry.
• Proven experience with Commerce7 and direct‑to‑consumer wine sales platforms.
• Wine qualification essential (WSET Level 2 minimum) and a genuine passion for wine.
• Strong leadership, analytical and business management abilities.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Professional, confident and polished in high‑end guest interactions.
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and special events as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Commerce7 point‑of‑sale and direct‑to‑consumer sales platform.
