Supply Chain Management Engineer – Order Fulfillment Assistant

About the role

Huawei Technologies Africa is looking for a motivated mid‑level Supply Chain Management Engineer to support end‑to‑end order fulfillment. The role will involve designing supply solutions, planning, logistics coordination and local procurement to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop supply solutions that align with project requirements, covering project planning, configuration, order and logistics management.
• Create and maintain Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) plans, collaborate with headquarters and stakeholders, and monitor implementation to mitigate risks.
• Track project demand versus supply, identify shortages early, and drive stakeholder engagement to resolve issues.
• Design logistics networks, coordinate transportation, and work with logistics partners to ensure secure, efficient and cost‑effective delivery.
• Manage local procurement of materials, liaise with internal departments, and support monthly rollout and deployment targets.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a customer‑service orientation.
• Clear logical thinking, effective communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑motivated, adaptable and able to perform under pressure.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel – advanced proficiency.
• Data analysis and maintenance of supply‑chain trackers.
• Familiarity with industry‑leading supply‑chain software and basic end‑to‑end supply‑chain processes.
