Store Supervisor – Retail Clothing

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Store Supervisor to support store management in a fast‑paced clothing retail environment. You will drive sales performance, lead a team of sales associates, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for store performance, sales targets and profitability.
• Lead, mentor and develop store teams, including junior managers and supervisors.
• Oversee daily store operations and maintain operational excellence.
• Implement and uphold visual merchandising standards.
• Manage stock control, monitor stock levels and prevent shrinkage.
• Analyse sales reports and devise strategies to improve performance.
• Ensure outstanding customer service and brand experience.
• Handle staffing, scheduling, performance reviews and disciplinary processes.
• Resolve escalated customer queries and complex issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and retail standards.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric (essential).
• 2–3 years experience in clothing retail.
• 2–3 years experience as a supervisor.
• Strong sales ability and target‑driven mindset.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Customer‑focused with strong problem‑solving skills.

What we offer

• Salary of R 9 441 per month.
• Provident Fund after one year of permanent employment.
• Month‑to‑month contract for 3 months, thereafter permanent.
• 45 hours per week (approximately 195 hours per month).
