STO Reservationist – National & International Market

About the role

We are seeking a sharp and experienced STO Reservationist to join our dynamic team in Century City, Cape Town. You will manage Special Tour Operator bookings for both local and international markets, ensuring seamless travel experiences for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Process and manage all STO reservations with high accuracy.
• Handle high‑volume itineraries and group series bookings.
• Communicate professionally with international tour operators, agents, and DMCs.
• Liaise with suppliers, lodges, transport providers, and internal service teams to confirm bookings and secure competitive rates.
• Collaborate closely with sales and operations teams to deliver flawless guest experiences.
• Maintain and update booking systems, client records, and reporting tools.

Required profile

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in an STO or travel reservations environment.
• Strong understanding of inbound tourism, group and FIT bookings, and contractual STO rates.
• Proven experience working with both national and international clients.
• In‑depth knowledge of Southern African destinations, products, and logistics.
• Excellent communication, time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with reservations software such as Cimso, Tourplan or Travelyst.
