About the role
An opportunity exists for a Staff Nurse/Professional Nurse to join the team at the Riverlands Mall branch in Observatory, Cape Town. The role requires strong phlebotomy competence and alignment with PathCare values.
Required profile
- Nursing diploma/degree or Enrolled Nurse Certificate and registration with SANC
- Valid Code B driver’s licence (manual transmission)
- Client‑focused with excellent attention to detail
- Adaptable team player with initiative and problem‑solving ability
- Effective communication, compassion, stress resistance and a positive attitude
- Fluent in English with an understanding of Afrikaans
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
Required skills
- Phlebotomy
- Meditech (computer literacy)
- Order of draw and use of Point of Care instruments (Hemocue, Stratus)
- Running arterial blood gas on dedicated machine
