Specialist Accountant

About the role

Motus Corporation is hiring a Specialist Accountant for its GetWorth Cape Town operation in Richmond Park, Western Cape. This permanent, on‑site role is aimed at accounting professionals with at least three years of experience and will focus on financial reporting, budgeting, analysis, compliance, and supporting business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial closes.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Analyse financial performance and key metrics.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Participate in audits and financial reviews.
• Develop strategies to support profitability.
• Provide financial insights to management and cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 3 years' accounting or finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency in financial software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
