Research Enablement Specialist

About the role

This role at FNB in Johannesburg supports the research function by ensuring economic and financial market research is clear, accurate and professionally presented. You will edit, proofread and manage research content to meet editorial and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Edit and proofread research publications, presentations and client materials, maintaining factual accuracy and consistency with style guidelines.
• Maintain the research content repository, ensuring proper archiving, version control and easy retrieval of assets.
• Coordinate publishing schedules, monitor workflow dependencies and flag risks to keep production on time.
• Ensure all outputs comply with governance, risk and regulatory requirements, applying appropriate review protocols.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Economics, Publishing, Language Practice, Information Science or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in editorial, research production or content management, preferably in financial services.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and ability to challenge assumptions constructively.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office proficiency.
• Experience with content management systems and publishing tools.
• Excellent editorial, proofreading and writing abilities.
