Specialised Projects and Partnerships Lead, CIB Brand & Marketing

About the role

Liberty, part of the Standard Bank Group, is hiring a Specialised Projects and Partnerships Lead for its Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Brand & Marketing division in Johannesburg. The role identifies, cultivates and leverages strategic partnerships to create sustainable value and support the CIB brand's strategic direction, acting as a trusted advisor and implementing specialised engagement programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Spearhead the development and execution of strategic partnership initiatives
• Identify and evaluate potential strategic partners
• Develop and implement partnership agreements and frameworks aligned with business objectives
• Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders across regions and organisations
• Design and execute go-to-market strategies with partners
• Negotiate mutually beneficial agreements and resolve differences
• Advise senior leadership on partnership opportunities and their impact
• Ensure partnership activities deliver against defined business objectives and metrics

Required profile

• First degree in business, commerce, marketing or social sciences
• 5-7 years of experience managing projects from start to finish
• 8-10 years in brand management, protecting and enhancing an organisation's public image
• Experience in B2C and B2B marketing, across several industries and international markets, especially in Africa
• Proven track record leading marketing specialist teams to strategic goals
• 8-10 years cultivating a network of internal and external stakeholders
