Special Events Assistant

About the role

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA), the 8th largest Coca-Cola authorised bottler in the world by revenue, is looking for a Special Events Assistant based in Bloemfontein. The role reports directly to the Special Events Coordinator and covers event support, stock handling, branding compliance and customer service. The closing date is 3 November 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with event setup, branding installation, activation support and breakdown of events, roadshows and promotional activities.
• Load, offload, count, reconcile and safeguard event stock, branding materials, promotional assets and equipment.
• Support experiential marketing, product promotions, sampling and consumer engagement activities.
• Support coordinators and drivers with logistics, stock movement, equipment handling and venue preparation.
• Keep branding materials, signage, gazebos, coolers and displays clean and aligned to company standards.
• Follow SHEQ standards, PPE requirements and safety procedures during all activities.
• Provide professional support to customers, consumers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Work with drivers, coordinators, warehouse teams and event crews, and help identify improvements to event execution.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric (essential).
• 1-3 years of experience in FMCG, events, logistics, merchandising or operational support.
• Exposure to customer-facing environments and promotional activities is advantageous; experience handling stock, assets or event equipment is preferred.
