Sourcing Specialist (Freelance)

Huzzle connects talent with leading companies across the UK, US, Canada, Europe and Australia, serving startups and established tech platforms in SaaS, MarTech, FinTech and EdTech. It is looking for a high-energy, freelance Sourcing Specialist to identify, engage and qualify elite talent for a variety of critical roles, turning passive prospects into active candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Build talent pipelines for technical and non-technical roles through sophisticated sourcing strategies.
• Use LinkedIn Recruiter, specialised job boards and alternative databases.
• Write personalised outreach messages that get responses from top-tier passive candidates.
• Screen and qualify candidates for cultural and technical fit before presenting them to hiring managers.
• Keep candidate data organised in the ATS for a smooth handoff to hiring teams.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and tools to improve the sourcing workflow.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a recruiter or talent sourcer focused on proactive talent identification and outbound sourcing.
• Experience hiring remotely across South Africa, LATAM, the UK, Europe and the US.
• Sourcing experience for SDRs, BDRs, CSMs, account managers, account executives and broader GTM roles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with a confident phone presence.
• Highly organised, with attention to detail and experience keeping accurate ATS and CRM records.

Required skills

• LinkedIn Recruiter, Google X-Ray search, Boolean search and Pnet.
• Advanced Boolean strings and alternative sourcing methods beyond keyword matching.
• Ability to convert passive candidates in competitive markets.
