Talent Acquisition Consultant (French Speaking) - Fixed Term

About the role

Vivo Energy is looking for a French-speaking Talent Acquisition Consultant on a fixed-term contract to provide recruitment support to the divisions within Global Business Services (GBS). The role delivers high-quality recruiting services that identify, engage and attract talent, ensuring a personalised and seamless experience for candidates and hiring managers, with a focus on quality of hire and critical capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Recruitment coordination: advertise roles internally and externally, brief hiring managers on profiles and criteria, review CVs against assessment criteria and screen candidates.
• Coordinate interviews, assessments and candidate checks (references and verifications), and manage the offer process and handover to onboarding.
• Deliver hiring demands within agreed SLAs and maintain a standardized talent pool, including end-to-end recruitment for talent pools.
• Customer interface: act as a point of contact for line managers, HR Managers and COEs, handle queries professionally and escalate issues when needed.
• HR administration support: run standard application and assessment processes, act on administrative tasks within timeframes and drive process efficiencies.
• Build relationships with government authorities, industry players and service providers, and foster strong working relationships with OU, GBS and central teams.
• Champion COBE, POPI and ABC policies, enforce company procedures and comply with statutory requirements.

Required profile

• NQF Level 6 (Diploma in HR, Business or equivalent).
• Fluent in French (reading, writing and speaking).
• 4 years of recruitment or HR generalist/consulting experience.
• Experience in HR administration support.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA).
• SABPP registration is advantageous.
