Solution Design Architect

About the role

We are looking for a Solution Design Architect to lead the creation of robust software systems that meet business objectives. You will shape technical strategy, guide development teams and ensure high‑quality delivery across our platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute software applications to address business needs.
• Define coding standards, workflows and technology choices for all projects.
• Identify and improve process and architectural inefficiencies.
• Provide architectural blueprints and technical leadership to the IT team.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes for optimal product quality.
• Collaborate with product teams to translate ideas into technical solutions.
• Stay current with industry technology trends.
• Produce documentation that captures decisions and enhances organisational understanding.
• Conduct code reviews for complex stories and perform hands‑on coding when required.
• Lead architectural reviews to ensure specifications are correctly implemented.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of PHP (Laravel, Lumen), Java, GoLang or Python.
• Experience with queuing systems such as RabbitMQ or SQS.
• Experience with caching solutions like Redis.
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes and container deployment.
• Familiarity with AWS (advantageous).
• Deep understanding of microservices and Web API integration.
• Extensive knowledge of software development processes, design patterns and architectural styles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience delivering large‑scale backend and frontend applications, preferably e‑commerce.
• Fintech exposure is a plus.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
