Software Engineer

About the role

ACI Worldwide is looking for a Software Engineer to join its payment solutions team. You will contribute to mission‑critical systems that process thousands of financial transactions per second, ensuring high availability, security and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deliver high‑quality software components for payment processing.
• Create and review product deliverables such as specifications, manuals and educational material.
• Apply AI‑driven development practices (code generation, test automation, analysis) to accelerate delivery and improve quality.
• Investigate and resolve customer‑reported issues.
• Maintain knowledge of hardware platforms, network and application layers.
• Manage software dependencies and ensure proper integration.
• Collaborate within an agile software engineering team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Approximately 2 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in object‑oriented programming.
• Ability to quickly learn new languages and tools.
