IT Support Engineer – Johannesburg

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to provide technical assistance to customers, field engineers, and technicians in Johannesburg. The role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and software issues while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers, field engineers, and technicians.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows systems, networks, and VOIP systems.
• Manage firewalls, cloud and on‑site backups, and camera systems.
• Document solutions, errors, and IT procedures to improve efficiency.
• Prioritize and resolve support requests while maintaining high service standards.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of IT support experience (on‑site & remote).
• Relevant IT certifications (A+, N+, Security+ preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 products.
• Experience in a service/help desk environment.
