Social Media and Marketing Manager

About the role

We are seeking a creative, driven, and results‑oriented Social Media & Marketing Manager to lead the promotion of our events and brands. The role focuses on developing digital marketing strategies, managing social channels, and producing engaging content that boosts brand awareness and event attendance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns aligned with event objectives.
• Manage and grow social media platforms using Meta Business Suite.
• Create visual and written content with tools such as Canva or CorelDRAW.
• Monitor analytics and adjust tactics to improve reach and engagement.
• Collaborate with event teams to drive attendance through innovative promotions.

Required profile

• Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
• Strong Afrikaans and basic English communication skills.
• 3‑5 years of experience in social media and digital marketing.
• Experience in event marketing is highly advantageous.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Meta Business Suite (Facebook management, posting, basic analytics).
• Design tools such as Canva, CorelDRAW, or similar.
• Proficiency with MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing principles.
