Media Sales Executive

About the role

The Media Sales Executive will prospect and secure advertising and media sales opportunities across Terrace Africa’s commercial and retail property portfolio. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in the Johannesburg Metropolitan Area and focuses on revenue generation from billboards, digital screens, and in‑mall advertising.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and convert new client leads for media inventory.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations and prepare tailored proposals.
• Negotiate terms, close sales and manage the end‑to‑end sales cycle.
• Maintain and grow a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align media offerings with property marketing strategies and provide regular sales performance reports.

Required profile

• Proven track record in media sales or related commercial sales, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
• Strong new‑business development and lead‑generation abilities.
• Solid account‑management experience, including renewals and upselling.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills, comfortable engaging decision‑makers and brands.
• Ability to work onsite in Johannesburg, manage time effectively and handle multiple opportunities simultaneously.

Required skills

• Familiarity with CRM systems.
• Proficiency in basic business software such as email, spreadsheets and presentation tools.
