Skilled Millwright for Automated Production Lines

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Millwright to join our Durban‑based packaging manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing automated production equipment to ensure optimal uptime.

Key responsibilities

• Perform total productive maintenance on plant machinery and equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns, including after‑hours call‑outs, to minimise production loss.
• Maintain high pressure pump systems and ensure they operate safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with the automation team to troubleshoot PLC‑controlled equipment.

Required profile

• Successful completion of a Millwright Trade Test.
• Minimum of 3 years experience working on automated production lines.
• Proven experience with PLCs and high pressure pump maintenance.
