Site Agent – Construction Project Management

About the role

The Site Agent will be based on‑site in Midrand and will lead daily construction activities for Kwemakholo Group. You will coordinate teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all on‑site construction activities, ensuring alignment with approved plans and contract requirements.
• Monitor progress against schedules, identify delays and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate resources, equipment, materials and labour to meet project objectives.
• Prepare and manage budgets, cash‑flow forecasts, procurement plans and cost control measures.
• Measure work quantities, prepare client payment claims and manage variations.
• Direct site staff, subcontractors and labour teams, allocate daily tasks and monitor productivity.
• Conduct regular site inspections, enforce quality assurance/control procedures and address defects.
• Ensure full compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, conduct toolbox talks and investigate incidents.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supervising construction sites and managing project timelines.
• Strong understanding of construction budgeting, cost control and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations applicable to construction.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders.
