About the role
A prominent financial services provider is seeking an experienced Short Term Insurance Underwriter to join its dynamic team in George, Western Cape. The role is permanent, office‑based and offers a lucrative salary with competitive benefits.
Key responsibilities
- Service commercial and personal insurance portfolios, including quoting, underwriting and renewal of policies.
- Utilise insurance corporate management systems to process and manage policies efficiently.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the financial services industry, with at least 3 years underwriting commercial and personal lines.
- Matric qualification; tertiary qualification advantageous.
- Bilingual fluency in Afrikaans and English (spoken, read, written).
Required skills
- Santam Policy Centre user proficiency.
- Knowledge of Mutlimark III policy wording.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
