About the role
We are seeking an experienced Short Term Insurance Underwriter to manage commercial and personal lines portfolios in our George office. The role is permanent, office‑based and offers a competitive salary and benefits.
Key responsibilities
- Quote, underwrite and renew commercial and personal insurance policies.
- Service insurance portfolios using corporate management systems.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years experience in financial services and at least 3 years underwriting commercial and personal lines.
- Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English, meticulous with strong attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
Required skills
- Santam Policy Centre (preferred).
- Knowledge of Mutlimark III policy wording.
- Proficiency with insurance corporate management systems.
- Advanced use of the MS Office suite.
