About the role
We are seeking an experienced Short‑Term Insurance Advisor to join our dynamic team in Somerset West. The role focuses on growing business across the short‑term insurance spectrum through new client acquisition, onboarding and cross‑selling to existing customers.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and source qualified, sustainable new business opportunities.
- Onboard new clients following compliant processes.
- Analyse client needs and cross‑sell appropriate short‑term and commercial insurance products.
- Develop market share by optimising existing clientele.
- Maintain accurate records and meet targeted deliverables.
Required profile
- Minimum matric; tertiary qualification advantageous.
- At least 5 years experience in short‑term insurance, with 3 years in advisory and sales.
- Hold NQF Level 5 qualification and RE5 and/or RE1 certificate.
- Fit and Proper status as required by the FSCA.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and bilingual (English/ Afrikaans) communication skills.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
