Service Advisor

About the role

The Service Advisor will be the primary point of contact for customers bringing vehicles to our workshop. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will ensure a seamless service experience by accurately capturing customer needs, coordinating repairs, and communicating costs and progress transparently.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly, listen to concerns, and ask diagnostic questions to clarify vehicle issues.
• Review inspection findings with technicians and translate technical problems into customer‑friendly language.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, obtain written or digital authorisation before work begins.
• Open job cards, assign work to technicians, and monitor workshop capacity and job progress.
• Update the DMS/CRM system with accurate service, warranty, and history records.
• Handle complaints calmly, investigate with technicians and supervisors, and resolve issues to maintain satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 education.
• At least 3 years of administrative experience, preferably in automotive or motorcycle components.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
