Sales Consultant – Property Transfers & Takeovers (Armed Response Sales)

About the role

Our client, an established armed response and security company operating in Gauteng, is seeking a proactive Sales Consultant to capture property‑transfer and new‑homeowner opportunities. You will turn moving‑home leads into new security contracts, ensuring the company stays ahead of competitors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue takeover leads when existing clients sell, cancel, or move out.
• Build and maintain a live network of estate agents, letting agents and conveyancers across Johannesburg.
• Contact new homeowners promptly, assess their security needs and present tailored armed‑response, monitoring and technical security solutions.
• Quote, negotiate and close contracts, meeting a monthly target of 30 takeover contracts and R30 000 in technical revenue.
• Coordinate with technical, monitoring, armed‑response and service teams to ensure smooth handovers.
• Attend evening client appointments as required; the role is field‑based rather than a fixed nine‑to‑five office job.

Required profile

• Existing relationships with estate agents, letting agents or conveyancers, or ability to build them quickly.
• Proven track record in direct, target‑driven sales.
• Valid PSIRA registration (non‑negotiable).
• Own vehicle and a valid driver’s licence (non‑negotiable).
• Willingness to work evenings for client appointments.
• Ability to work at pace and secure new business before competitors.

Required skills

• R20 000 – R25 000 per month cost to company (no company benefits).
• R3 000 monthly fuel allowance.
• Commission on sales.
