SEO Manager – Remote (Latin America & South Africa)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SEO Manager to lead the SEO department of a digital marketing agency that serves dental and healthcare clients. The role is fully remote and focuses on driving organic growth through comprehensive SEO strategies, including technical, on‑page, local and AI‑driven search optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a small SEO team, including two offshore assistants.
• Develop and execute SEO strategies covering Technical SEO, On‑Page SEO, Local SEO, Google Business Profile and AI search optimization.
• Perform keyword research, competitor analysis and technical audits to uncover growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with content, web development and client success teams to implement best practices.
• Monitor organic performance, analyse data and adjust tactics to improve rankings, traffic and conversions.
• Produce client reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
• Refine SEO workflows, quality‑assurance processes and documentation.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Google algorithm changes, AI search trends and industry standards.
• Mentor team members and support their professional development.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience managing SEO campaigns.
• Proven ability to lead or mentor remote/offshore SEO teams.
• Strong expertise in Technical SEO, On‑Page SEO, Local SEO, Google Business Profile and AI search optimization.
• Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads, Screaming Frog, Search Atlas and similar tools.
• Basic HTML and WordPress knowledge, with experience working alongside developers.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English, comfortable in client‑facing meetings.
• Background in a digital marketing agency (preferably US) and preferably in the healthcare niche.

• Salary USD 1,700 – 2,200 per month plus performance bonuses.
