Senior Tax Consultant – Accounting & Tax Services

Join a dynamic and professional team where your tax and accounting expertise will be truly valued. We are looking for an experienced Senior Tax Consultant to manage a diverse client portfolio, delivering end‑to‑end tax and accounting support across various industries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting and tax function for a client portfolio.
• Draft annual financial statements for companies, trusts, and sole proprietors using Caseware.
• Prepare trial balances and produce monthly management reports.
• Prepare and submit income tax, provisional tax, and VAT returns for companies, individuals, trusts and sole proprietors.
• Provide tax and accounting advice to clients.
• Handle all SARS correspondence, including filing notices of objection and submitting suspension of debt requests via eFiling.
• Ensure strict compliance with all statutory deadlines.
• Uphold professional conduct and workplace etiquette.

Required profile

• Completed Accounting Degree or Higher Diploma.
• Completed SAICA/SAIPA/ACCA/CIMA/SAIBA articles (affiliation preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in an accounting environment.
• Valid driver’s licence, own vehicle and willingness to travel to client sites.

Required skills

• Proven experience with Caseware (critical).
• Working knowledge of Pastel accounting software.
• Strong technical knowledge of SARS eFiling.
