Senior Student Advisor – Tertiary Education Recruitment

About the role

Our client, a well‑established tertiary education provider, is looking for a Senior Student Advisor to lead the recruitment journey for prospective students in Auckland Park, Johannesburg. You will turn enquiries into applications and enrolments while delivering excellent customer service throughout the student lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Promote academic programmes and recruit prospective students.
• Convert enquiries into applications and drive enrolments.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle from first contact to registration.
• Maintain high conversion rates by following up leads.
• Build relationships with students, parents, schools and other stakeholders.
• Conduct career guidance and programme consultations.
• Represent the institution at expos, school visits, open days and other events.
• Identify new recruitment channels and generate business opportunities.
• Achieve and exceed monthly and annual enrolment targets.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and produce regular sales reports.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Student Advisor, Recruitment Consultant or Admissions Advisor in tertiary education.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding recruitment/sales targets.
• Strong communication, presentation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Highly organised with solid administrative and CRM skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport (advantageous).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
