About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic English teacher for Grades 8‑12 at Reddford House Northcliff, part of the Inspired Education network. The role involves creating a positive learning environment, delivering engaging lessons and supporting student wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver dynamic English lessons for Grades 8‑12.
- Maintain a nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages active learning.
- Provide academic support during two afternoons per week and co‑curricular activities.
- Prepare and mark examinations, assessments and report comments.
- Develop high‑quality teaching resources and integrate ICT tools.
- Attend school events, special occasions and uphold school policies.
Required profile
- Minimum three years’ experience teaching English to Grades 8‑12.
- Familiarity with the IEB curriculum.
- University degree in a relevant subject and SACE accreditation.
- Proficiency in using ICT for teaching.
- Legal right to work in a South African school.
- Strong organisational skills and a passion for student development.
