Senior Quality Assurance Specialist – ITCE

About the role

The Senior Quality Assurance Specialist drives the quality and consistency of IT General Controls (ITGC) audits within the ITCE function. You will ensure audit engagements meet methodology standards and regulatory requirements while supporting auditors through training and guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform independent quality assurance reviews of ITGC and IS audit engagements.
• Assess audit documentation for compliance with internal methodology, ISA, PCAOB, ISAE 3402 and other regulatory standards.
• Identify gaps in audit execution, control testing, and reporting, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Support the development, refinement, and standardisation of IS audit methodology.
• Develop and deliver training programs and workshops on ITGCs, audit methodology, and emerging IT risks.
• Act as subject‑matter expert for ITGC quality, providing guidance to audit and financial audit teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CIA, CPA are highly desirable.
• 5‑7 years of experience in IT/IS auditing, including 2‑3 years reviewing IS audit work for financial audits.
• Strong understanding of ITGCs, application controls, system access, change management and general IT risks.
• Experience with audit standards: ISA, PCAOB, ISAE 3402 and IT audit methodology.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver training programs and produce high‑quality IS audit work.
• Excellent analytical, communication and documentation skills.
