Senior Project Manager – Programme Lead

About the role

Indsafri is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large‑scale national programmes, coordinating teams in South Africa and India. The role focuses on delivering e‑procurement platforms and public‑sector reporting while ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Define programme milestones, track dependencies and manage risks/issues to meet delivery timelines.
• Establish governance forums, maintain reporting cadence and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate offshore delivery managers and local stakeholders for seamless execution.
• Manage vendors, contractors and government stakeholders to drive programme success.
• Oversee national‑scale platform rollouts, e‑procurement system implementation and compliance reporting.
• Ensure programme outputs meet quality standards for governance and consumer protection.

Required profile

• PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
• Hybrid Agile delivery expertise.
• 12+ years of programme or project management experience.
• Proven ability to manage risk, issues and dependencies.
• Experience in status reporting and governance forum management.
• Strong vendor coordination and stakeholder engagement skills.
