Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to operate within an AWS‑native banking environment. You will own the build, automation, and operational tooling that delivery teams rely on daily, focusing on code, pipelines, and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that move code from commit to production safely and repeatably.
• Automate AWS workload provisioning and configuration deployment using infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
• Develop and operate deployment automation, release tooling, and environment management for delivery squads.
• Harden developer experience through repository templates, pipeline templates, and self‑service tooling.
• Integrate security and compliance controls (PCI‑DSS) into pipelines and infrastructure.
• Work hands‑on across the AWS estate, integrating cloud‑native services with on‑premises systems where required.
• Build and operate workloads on EC2, RDS, EBS, EKS, ECS, load balancers, Secrets Manager, KMS, and Service Catalog.
• Apply networking fundamentals—routing, segmentation, security groups, DNS, TLS—to design secure, operable environments.
• Support platform services such as identity, messaging, and application server tiers.

Required profile

• Several years of DevOps engineering experience in a regulated, PCI‑DSS environment.
• Strong collaboration skills with developers, architects, security engineers, and platform teams.
• Experience with Site Reliability Engineering concepts is a strong advantage.

• Security and compliance integration (PCI‑DSS)
• Site Reliability Engineering practices (observability, incident response, failure domain reduction)
