Senior Project Manager (EPCM) – Johannesburg

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with extensive EPCM experience to lead minerals processing projects in Johannesburg. The role combines project controls, engineering, construction and HSE oversight to deliver high‑value concentrator and smelter programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project and controls activities from feasibility through commissioning.
• Oversee project study and detailed engineering phases.
• Lead construction and commissioning teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Negotiate and administer contracts, claims and variations.
• Coordinate engineering, health, safety and environment (HSE) management across the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• BEng, BSc or BTech in Engineering.
• 10‑15 years of relevant experience in EPCM companies.
• Proven experience with PGM, chrome, base‑metals concentrators or platinum smelters.
• PMP or similar project‑management qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.
