Senior Programme Manager

About the role

Standard Bank Group is looking for an experienced Programme Manager to lead the delivery of a portfolio of strategic projects. The role suits an accomplished programme leader who has successfully managed multiple complex projects and led a team of project managers. The successful candidate coordinates interconnected workstreams, guides cross-functional delivery teams and ensures strategic business solutions are delivered within agreed scope, cost, timelines and quality standards.

Required profile

• First degree; PMP qualification preferred.
• More than 10 years' experience in programme and project management.
• Proven experience leading project managers and multidisciplinary delivery teams, with direct people-management experience.
• Experience managing multiple projects, workstreams and dependencies within a broader programme.
• Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale strategic change or business transformation programmes.
• Strong programme governance, financial management, risk management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Ability to engage confidently with senior business leaders and drive accountability across multiple teams.
