Senior .NET Developer (Level 1)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Senior Developer Level 1 who enjoys solving real business problems and building high‑quality software. In this hands‑on position you will join a collaborative Kanban team, develop modern applications and continuously improve the systems and processes around you.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and implement opportunities to optimise systems, streamline processes and deliver greater business value.
• Work within a Kanban team on new feature development and enhancements to existing applications.
• Collaborate with technical leads and senior developers to design and deliver robust software solutions.
• Develop high‑quality backend services using .NET technologies and contribute to modern frontend applications.
• Write and maintain automated tests, ensuring quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in peer code reviews, providing constructive feedback and improving your own skills.
• Maintain clear documentation and ensure code is ready for deployment.
• Investigate and support production issues, resolving problems efficiently and escalating when required.
• Share knowledge proactively and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
• Suggest and implement improvements to development practices, team processes and engineering standards.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software development experience or an equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on business impact.
• A mindset centred on optimisation, efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Practical experience with .NET or similar backend technologies.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and good software design fundamentals.
• Experience with modern frontend technologies such as React and TypeScript is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage priorities effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Collaborative team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and helping others succeed.
