Senior Engineer - Structures, Data Center

About the role

The Senior Engineer will lead structural design activities for data centre projects, delivering high‑quality outputs while mentoring junior staff. This role combines hands‑on design, technical leadership, and client interaction within a multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a design team of junior and mid‑level structures staff, providing mentorship and direction.
• Ensure coordinated design deliverables across disciplines and support construction supervision.
• Guide technical aspects of projects, support project managers, and maintain high‑quality design outputs.
• Participate in business development, client relationships, and technical proposals.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering (Structural), preferably M.Eng or MSc.
• At least 8 years of post‑qualification experience and professional registration with ECSA (Pr.Eng.) for a minimum of 3 years.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills with ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit, Tekla Structural Designer, ETABS, SAP2000, Robot, and IDEA Statica.
• Experience using BIM tools (Autodesk Revit) in multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of American and/or European design codes (preferred).
