Civil Engineer – Building & Data Center Projects

About the role

Under the supervision of a Senior Engineer or Associate Engineer, you will develop detailed civil designs for building services and data centre infrastructure, covering earthworks, water reticulation, pavement, stormwater, sewerage, road geometry and cable ducts.

Key responsibilities

• Design bulk earthworks, water supply, sewerage, stormwater, road geometry and cable duct systems.
• Model civil engineering services using Civil 3D and Revit.
• Specify, analyse and size equipment such as submersible pumps, interceptors and tanks.
• Prepare civil engineering drawings and documentation, ensuring compliance with standards and QA procedures.
• Participate in project teams, attend planning and design meetings, and conduct site inspections.
• Manage low‑complexity projects independently and support bid preparation.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of post‑qualification civil engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (M.Eng. advantageous).
• Experience designing building services including water supply, sewerage, stormwater, ducting and pavements.
• Proven ability to lead small design projects and estimate resources.
• Strong analytical, commercial awareness and planning skills.
