Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

The Senior DevOps Engineer will lead the optimisation of our software development and delivery pipelines, ensuring a reliable, secure, and scalable environment for our engineering teams. You will work closely with developers, QA, and operations to create a seamless developer experience and drive automation across the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, architect, deploy and maintain Azure infrastructure with high availability, scalability and security.
• Design, implement and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Implement security best practices, conduct regular assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to foster a DevSecOps culture and provide clear project updates.
• Act as the technical escalation point for Azure‑related issues and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Matric certificate or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience designing, implementing and managing Azure cloud solutions.
• Proven expertise building CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of security and code‑quality tools such as SonarQube.
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform and IaC concepts.
